Paw It Forward Dog Training, LLC was formed to teach you, the dog owner,
simple and effective techniques to help improve your dog's behavior. Since
each dog is unique, training can be customized to best meet the needs of you
and your dog. Positive reinforcement training rewards your dog for doing the
right behavior, not punishing for doing the wrong behavior.
To have a balanced dog you MUST:
Have good leadership skills (You must be the pack leader). Learn simple exercises to help
your dog understand their place in your pack. These techniques are not harsh or forceful in any
way.
Give your dog plenty of exercise: Most owners underestimate how much exercise their dogs
need. A dog must be allowed to burn energy. Pent up energy causes frustration. A frustrated dog
can cause all types of problem behaviors such as excess barking, chewing, jumping, hyper activity
and even aggression.
Teach your dog basic obedience. This is the building block for a well behaved dog in all
situations. This not only teaches good manners, but establishes great leadership skills. See our
