| A BETTER CLASS FORMAT! Paw It Forward Dog Training, LLC offers the ONLY Basic Obedience classes taught in Levels. Things just keep getting better! This format have proven VERY popular! Come see the difference.... What are classes taught in levels more beneficial than traditional classes? Paw It Forward Dog Training is proud to offer Levels Classes for Basic Obedience. Instead of attending a traditional 6 week course where you attend one hour a week on the same day for six weeks, you now have the option of attending class when it is convenient for you. How? Because classes are ongoing each week. Need to miss a class? No problem! Just attend the following week. You’ll purchase a "block of time" to complete your sessions. Take 8, 12 or 16 weeks! Rather stick to the same day each week? No problem! You can do that as well. Dogs move to the next level after they have demonstrated proficiency of specific skill requirements in their current level. Our flexible schedule allows for owners to miss a week without falling behind or attend more frequently enhancing their learning experience. It also benefits dogs by allowing them to learn at their own pace so they can spend time focusing on areas where they need the most help. Classes held at Shampoodle in Clifton Park. Dogs learn better when they are rewarded for doing the right behavior instead of being punished for doing the wrong behavior. We use some food rewards, tons of praise, good positive leadership training, dog psychology and how to effectively communicate with your dog. Add in a lot of fun! See The Benefits - You never need to wait weeks to start class. You can start right after attending orientation. - Work at your dog’s own level until they master each level’s skills. No pressure or feeling like you are being held back. Your and your dog will learn at your own pace. - Students can also go back to work at a lower level to brush up on skills. - Flexible schedule! Students can choose which classes to attend based on your schedule. We teach each level a few times a week, ongoing. - Come as frequently as you want. You can attend more than one session per week or even skip a week if you need to without feeling left behind. No need to panic if you miss a class. PRIVATE LESSONS - By appointment in your home. Is your dog driving you crazy? Let me help you. Behavior problems are usually misunderstood by the owner because owners tend to unknowingly reinforce bad behaviors. I can help you change the way you interact with your dog to achieve training success. If your dog is displaying problem behaviors, I will evaluate them in their environment, consult with you on what training needs to be done to meet your goals, and lay out a treatment plan to help your dog successfully get on the road to good behavior. I train using positive reinforcement, which means rewarding your dog for doing the right thing, not punishing your dog for doing the wrong thing. Common Behavior Problems are: Jumping, Destructive Chewing, Puppy Nipping/Biting, Excessive Barking, Digging, Counter Surfing, Stealing, Separation Anxiety/Phobias, Fearful/Shy dogs, Food/Resource Guarding, Pulling Hard on Leash, House Training and Aggression.
