| All classes are taught at Paw It Forward Dog Training in Rotterdam, NY BETTER CLASS FORMAT! Paw It Forward Dog Training, LLC offers the ONLY Basic Obedience classes taught in Levels in this area. Things just keep getting better! This format have proven VERY popular! Come see the difference.... Why are classes taught in levels more beneficial than traditional classes? Paw It Forward Dog Training is proud to offer ongoing enrollment for Flexible Levels Formatted Basic Obedience classes. Instead of attending a traditional 6 week course where you attend one hour a week on the same day for six weeks, you now have the option of attending class when it is convenient for you. How? Because classes are ongoing each week. Need to miss a class? No problem! Just attend the following week. You can purchase a package of 6, 8 or 12 classes. Here is how it works: Purchase 6 classes and have 9 weeks to use them. Purchase 8 classes and have 11 weeks to use them. Purchase 12 classes and have 15 weeks to use them. Classes are taught in two different levels. Come to whatever classes you feel your dog needs the most work in. Classes are suited to your needs. How do you start? Easy, download the registration packet, let us know when you'd like to start and sign up in advance for a class of your choice. You must sign up for a class in advance to reserve a spot as space is limited. Missed classes without notice will count against a class in your package. If you need to cancel or reschedule you must give 24 hours notice. Paw It Forward’s Training Methods I use positive reinforcement training to maximize your dog’s learning. Dogs learn better when they are rewarded for doing the right behavior instead of being punished for doing the wrong behavior. We work on good positive leadership training, dog psychology and how to effectively communicate with your dog. Add in a lot of fun! Choose which classes to attend based on your schedule. - Classes are taught 6 times a week! - Training area is a cozy environment and class sizes are limited to 4 making more time for individual attention. - Indoor and outdoor training areas to utilize. - Classes tailored to YOU and your dog to maximize success. Levels Class Descriptions Level 1- Beginning Skills · Name Recognition – Dog learns to look at handler when their name is called. · Sit: Learn to sit on cue. . Watch Me: focus on hander when told "watch me". · Down: Learn to lie down from a sit position on cue. . Stay: Stay from a sit and down position until released. . Leave It: Leave an object when told. Level 2- Learning Manners . Leash Manners: Walk nicely on a loose leash. · No Jumping: Fun anti jumping exercises to keep your dog from jumping. · Wait: Wait at an open door (leashed) until invited out. . Come When Called: Fun ways to reinforce a good recall the first time you call. . Solving problem behaviors such as counter surfing, barking, chewing,house training, digging, phobias, resource guarding and more. PRICING: One Paw Package: 6 Classes to be used within 9 weeks - $110 Two Paw Package: 8 Classes to be used within 11 weeks - $130 Three Paw Package: 12 Classes to be used within 15 weeks - $180 Individual Classes: $20 each (must pay in advance) Can't make a long term commitment? Sign up for individual classes instead. Classes must be paid for in advance to reserve a spot in a particular class. Just call ahead to reserve a spot in any class. Owners MUST call to reserve a spot. Classes are be reservation only as space is limited. Want to just come in to "observe" a class?? We welcome you to! Just call ahead to make sure a class is taking place that day and feel free to come in to observe. |
